Journal of Materials Chemistry A Names Torkelson Paper Among 50 Most Popular of 2022

Among its most popular articles of 2022, The Journal of Materials Chemistry A has highlighted a recent paper from the John Torkelson group, “Simple upcycling of virgin and waste polyethylene into covalent adaptable networks: catalyst-free, radical-based reactive processing with dialkylamino disulfide bonds.”  To qualify for the list, the article ranked among the journal’s fifty most cited, downloaded, or shared last year.  This distinction is particularly noteworthy given that the article was only published on November 8th, making the list alongside only two articles published after it.  Logan Fenimore and Boran Chen, two of Torkelson’s Ph.D. students, served as first and second authors on the paper.
